Before she began her current career in HR, Amie had a decent length career in Retail Management. Amie's first year out of high school, she attended The Ohio State University, and like some , decided that school was not what she wanted to do at that point. Thus, Amie became a retail manager and remained so until 2007 when she decided to return to school and finish her degree. Amie's years of experience in the retail world helped her tune in to what it was that she wanted to go to school for. Amie had seen the effects of poor human resource departments and those of good human resource departments, and that gave way to her interest in better understanding Human Resources as an element of a business's success or failure. Amie is currently seeking two degrees at The Ohio State University, one in Business Administration and one in Human Resource Management. Once Amie has accomplished this goal, she intends to return to The Ohio State University to receive a master's degree in Human Resource Management. Amie's career goal is to take an active role in making the Human Resource Department a strategic element of Three Scale's business plan and, in turn, create another brick in a solid foundation for success.
